Vytex NRL is easy to introduce into any manufacturing environment that is currently using traditional natural rubber latex or synthetic substitutes. In most cases, little to no modifications will need to be made to the manufacturing environment, and in many cases, manufacturing processes such as excessive washing and leaching processes can be reduced.

Vytex NRL adds very little to the cost of manufacturing. However, because it is low protein and retains the physical properties of natural rubber latex, products manufactured with Vytex NRL will command a premium price compared to traditional natural rubber latex.

The surgical glove market demonstrates this fact. In today's market, synthetic gloves all cost more to manufacture than latex gloves, and all command higher prices than natural rubber latex gloves. Some synthetic gloves, such as neoprene and isoprene, cost up to four to five times more than natural rubber latex. Early projections are that surgical gloves made of Vytex natural rubber latex will be less expensive than the alternatives to natural rubber latex offered to the market today. And only surgical gloves made with Vytex NRL have all the benefits of natural rubber latex and reduced risks of antigenic proteins.
