Vytex™ Natural Rubber Latex (NRL) is the result of years of research and testing to develop a natural rubber latex without the problem of antigenic proteins causing allergic reactions.

The production of Vytex NRL involves the addition of a proprietary chemical solution to natural rubber latex. The additive removes the antigenic proteins without compromising the desirable properties of latex. Test results show that this simple, economical process reduces protein levels well below the ranges industry standard tests currently label as "safe" - below 10 antigenic protein micrograms per gram of latex on the ELISA test (ASTM D6499-07).
